HIGH MOUNTAINS & EXPLORING TOURS

The tour takes place in north western Mongolia and where there are dominating the higher mountains than other range of mountains the Kharkhiraa ( 4037 m) and Turgen (3965 ) peaks. This is an area of alpine lakes, swift mountain streams, and vast glaciers. From mountain ridge and passes there open extraordinary panoramas of glaciers, desert landscape, Lakes and huge grasslands The Kharkhiraa and Turgen mountains are home to many endangered, rare animals  include snow leopard, wild mountain sheep, ibex, lynx and so on . And there are small ethnic group inhabit the area who are live to herds of domesticated yaks, sheep, goats, and horses they lead a lifestyle that has not changed for a near hundred years.

Day 1  Welcome to Ulaangom town, the center and hub of the Uvs province! When you land at the Ulaangom airport, your guide will pick you up, and then have lunch at the restaurant that serves the local best food for you. If you are a vegan and a vegetarian, it is not a problem. They will serve  you as you want. After we have it, we will visit the local small theater where we will watch the traditional performance ( horse head fiddle instrument, chrome, traditional dance etc;) thereafter, we will visit the museum of the Uvs province. If you’re not tired, we will keep on walking through the center of town, introducing you to the town. A visit to Galdan boshigt palace (who was a leader of Oirad Mongolia periods of the 17th center). Thereafter we head to your hotel.

Day 2 Today, we are going to ride a camel or walk as your request, it is about 20 km. Kick off your trek with an easy ride through high mountains riffles to descent towards the first attraction place while we are riding, see the pathogenic uprights, and watch the specific animals; fox, wolf, marmot. We will serve lunch on the way.

Day 3  Continues to ride horses or walk around 20 km. Our trail takes us first over the 3 kinds of colors of the lake via breathtaking mountain scenery of Kharkhira Turgen. We keep going or walk through untamed nature. There is an ice mountain, to see some wild animals occasionally, and it will be an approach to the overnight place.

Day 4  Today, we are walking or riding around 25 km to see the 108 pieces of the lake. New experience of specific flora and fauna around the lake, and you will encounter  many mountains with wild animals. After enjoying the view and relaxing with lunch, we continue to visit the nomad family. That family is here to stay, we are tonight.

Day 5   We leave after breakfast with family members, are served traditional solids and some diary products, and then we start hiking around 20 km to see wild goats, lynx and deer.

Day 6 Today we are going to walk through the Baga Yamaat  where place has a valley, and pass it on a smooth and gradual descent until we reach the wild goats. Before going there, ask someone whether or not they are interested in seeing the flocks of wild goats. After that, we head towards Tel camp to stay at night.

Day 7 Today our walking will be through the beautiful place with magnificent view of the Uvs region. That place name is khotgorin tsurai. It is known well as special formation rocks among the locals and on the walking, it give us a chance incredible photographic opportunities as the top of the rocks we can view the sights of whole a place standing around us and thereafter we drive by car around 45 km, and to visit the Kazak family.

Day 8   Today drive to Urge lake by car and where you can swim, fishing, visit the nomad family and spend free time with family members and meet their real lifestyle, livestock, herding in nature and help them. You will see, they are so happy to see the new guest and glad to introduce you.

Day 9   drive back to Ulaangom around 90 km.
