This temple belongs to the Kalachakra sect of Buddhism, which was built in 1810 by Mongolian and Tibetan artists. Day 1  We embark on a city tour to see the Janyraisk temple. After enjoying a guided visit of the temple, we’ll drive to Elsentasarkhai (mini Gobi) for a ride on a camel and hike through the high mountains. The sand dunes are totally 270 km from Ulaanbaatar. There are two sections of landscape, the northern and southern part. The main road runs through the national park territory and divides the sand dune into north and south parts, which is called the Elsentasarkhai by locals. The southern sand dune is called Mongol Els. The dunes here are relatively humid and vegetated from the Tarni river flows along the dunes.

Day 2 Drive to  Khustai national park. The NATIONAL PARK is declared a National Park as a specially protected area in 1992, one year after the initiation of the reintroduction project of the Takhi (Przewalski’s horse).
